Description
This was created as a part of an exhibition I managed for UKREiiF in May 2025. It included 8 artists and followed the brief: "Tomorrow's generation, the world they'll inherit."
Stuck In The Nest is a fabric banner that depicts a bird outgrowing its nest. I have created this piece to visualize the current and continuing housing crisis specifically representing the young people stuck renting or living at their parent's house, unable to leave their childhood homes and gain independence due to mortgage prices being unattainable. Affordability is pricing tomorrows generation out of home ownership.
